Energy Traffic Association
The Energy Traffic Association (ETA) is a non-profit educational association of logistics professionals in the energy industry. ETA was formed by the merger of two former trade associations, which served the oil and gas industry since 1923 and 1941, respectively.
The Uniform Intermodal Interchange & Facilities Access Agreement is a standard interchange contract developed to promote intermodal productivity and operating efficiencies through the development of uniform industry processes and procedures governing the interchange of intermodal equipment between ocean carriers, railroads, equipment leasing companies and intermodal trucking companies.
Houston Area Safety Council
The mission of the Houston Area Safety Council as an innovative leader is building safer workplaces by improving the quality and integrity of the workforce. In serving the Texas Gulf Coast and beyond since 1990, HASC, Inc. has delivered over 2.5 million units of training and grown from a one-room office to two locations, including a 40,000 square foot facility.
Local Emergency Planning Committees were created in 1986 as the result of federal legislation designed to increase the public's awareness and knowledge of hazardous chemicals present in the community and the release of these chemicals into the environment.
TMTA is a trade organization dedicated to enhancing the effectiveness of its members by advocating sound public policies, providing excellence in education, training and information and promoting a safe, dependable and cost-effective motor transportation system to better serve the people of Texas.

The Railway Industrial Clearance Association (RICA) was founded in 1969 and is dedicated to serving the heavy and dimensional transportation industry. We are over 400 members strong and growing every year.
The purpose of HTPA is to position the Association and its membership to be an integral part of the transportation industry by presenting timely and quantitative issue-oriented presentations to members, maintaining fiscal stability and supporting individuals interested in the transportation industry through the HTPA scholarship program.
